Welcome to The Old School Of Mysteries, a sacred sanctuary space for embodied experiential spirituality, dedicated to guiding you on a transformative spiritual journey.
Motherhood is not just about birthing a child, it is the archetype of holding, nurturing, and creation itself. It moves through us in the way we care, the way we tend to life, the way we birth ideas, art, and community.
This space is open to all women, whether you mother children, dreams, land, or yourself. Whether you hold spaces for others or simply long to be held yourself, this gathering is for you. It is a space to be held and to honour the mothering force in all its forms.
Details & How to Join
🌒 WHAT TO EXPECT
Come as you are. Let’s gather in the spirit of the mother, in all her forms.
Together, we will call on the divine love that unites us all, creating a moment of shared devotion and healing.
🌒 WHAT IS OUR CONTRIBUTION?
You get to decide what to pay. You decide on your contribution towards this journey.
This is the GEM (Gift Economy Model), the foundation of this project and an embodied practise this space is aiming to model.
This being a non-profit led initiative that relies on the GEM model to share the magic of the school space with community, your voluntary surplus contribution allow the project to exist
The "Surplus" is essentially the "Profit" of a traditional business model.
The Cost to hold this ceremony covers: Heating | Wood | Insurance | Cleaning | and a nominal contribution for the facilitator's time
Our cost to run this intimate gathering is £18 pp. Any contribution beyond £18 is entirely voluntary, offered as a gift to the space & this vision that holds us all.
May we continue to gather, to hold each other's visions and to thrive as community 🫶🏼
Playing with Sacred Exchange!
Introduction:
This space was never meant to be a business in the traditional sense. It is a living, breathing ecosystem, a place where transformation is nurtured, and community is woven through shared experience.
Over the years, I have been guided by a simple truth: strong connections make resilient communities, and resilient communities make resilient people.
In keeping with this ethos, my approach to pricing is different. I see financial exchange as just one piece of a larger, more meaningful system, one that values trust, reciprocity, and conscious contribution.
A Note on the Gift Economy - GEM:
Unlike other ceremonies where tickets reflect the facilitator’s needs and venue costs, this gathering follows the path of sacred exchange, a revival of the Gift Economy.
This means:
At 53 years old, having facilitated for 25 years, I know that my dharma is to walk this path of sacred exchange—not as an easy choice, but as the truest one.
I fund this project personally, choosing not to be reliant on grants that entangle us in systems we seek to move beyond. My work in sacred sexuality, family discourse coaching, and transformational facilitation sustains me—and through the gift economy, this space can remain a living, breathing experiment in community-supported sanctuary.
Giving Freely, From the Heart
Any contributions beyond the essentials are entirely voluntary, offered as a gift to the land, the space, and the vision that holds us all. In a traditional business model, this would be considered profit, a fixed amount woven into the cost of the experience. But this is sacred business reimagined—a model that moves beyond transactional thinking and into a more conscious, co-created way of giving and receiving.
This is, at its core, an intensive journey into money consciousness, inviting us to examine our relationship with abundance, reciprocity, and trust. It is not always easy to be left to decide on our own—questions arise:
"Is this too much? Too little?"
Even the act of reducing or expanding our offering becomes a mirror for our deeper beliefs. This, in itself, is a beautiful space for reflection.
In this way, giving becomes an organic, heartfelt offering rather than an obligation, continuing the cycle of support for future gatherings and the evolution of this sacred space.
If this resonates with you, trust in the exchange, and contribute from that place of knowing.
